Looks like you're taking a visit to the east coast this spring.
East Coast? I wish. All the cool CB people are from the East Coast. I'm in the midwest. Where it is, seriously, 17 degrees.
I won't get to see my brother until next year. Not fair, not fair, I say! But I do have another one to deal with, haha.
My awesomeness would like to meet you in order to have a fantastical experience.
Woot!
Oh, I'm just fantastical. I see the switch to 4.5 messed with the awesomeness of your profile. That's ok, though, it still ranks higher on the awesome scale of awesomeness than mine.
Hahaha, I know. But a part of me couldn't hit the backspace button on the comment. ;)
My mind was in the gutter after I read that last comment. |*_*|
Brandoooon, or is it Braaaaandon.
I should stop typing out different ways to yell your name, it just isn't right, lol.
Your brother went when this place is at its worst. I'm pretty sure that I'll get my request to work in DC, but if I don't, I'll be in Afghanistan 3 months after I return to my unit; that's pretty much a guarantee. My heart goes out to your brother. My cousin, who lived with me for 10 years got out as a SSgt after his third deployment to Iraq (0321 Recon). He got a pretty wicked case of PTSD that has been left untreated. It's always been a big concern of mine.
On a lighter note...
What college do you attend? What's your major?
Yeah, my brother came back with a lot of messed up stories. I understand the best I can without having been there. But since he's been medically discharged they don't want to help him with any medical expenses. Meaning he doesn't get the medication he needs for his PTSD... or medical attention for the shrapnal in his back, and the shrapnal that causes him to cough up blood.
But on a lighter note, my life is still boring. And ordinary. College is keeping me busy.
You know how in Jarhead, they were in Kuwait for all of that time and despite seeing a bunch of fucked up shit, ol' boy never fired his weapon? That's what it's like. The only difference is; I actually have fired my weapon. This place is a tale of extremely peaceful (deceivingly, more like), or off the damn chain. No gray area.
But it's all good. I'll be back in the states soon enough.
Anywho, fill me in on the life and times of Dee. ^_^
Ah, that's what I thought. On the bright side, it's not as dangerous as it once was.
I haven't been in Japan since July. I'm in Iraq at the moment. TONSOFUN!LOLZ! (not really)
I'm doing alright. I do have to ask, though, where are you (location wise)? Someone said you were in Japan, but that's not correct, is it?
